Artist Spotlight: Fatima Razic

Fatima is a European soul singer-songwriter who blends her Bosnian roots with contemporary pop and creates an expressive delivery infused with charged emotions and connectedness with her audience. Her delivery permeates through the crowd with a moving power that gives you chills. She finds a way to express her troubled youth through songwriting and uses it as a therapeutic outlet that both heals and hurts. Her songs embody love and pain at the same time. Fatimaís passion for musical expression comes from her desire to transform negative experiences into positive lessons and gratitude. She uses written word and musical compositions as her expressive outlet and teaches young students how to express themselves through music and songwriting. It was her expressive songwriting that secured her appearances at the Rochester International Jazz Festival, Rochester Auditorium Theatre, Blue Cross Arena and Sahlenís Stadium opening for multi-Grammy winners The Whispers, Clarence Carter, Regina Bell, Lenny Williams and Marvin Sapp just to name a few.
