Nels Ross Cremean is a sought after performer, speaker, and oddball who has won the hearts of American and international audiences. His uplifting arts-in-education programs promote character, wellness, learning, and joy. Applying his Masters in Education and performing arts background, including training with instructors from UB Theatre & Dance and Cirque du Soleil, Nels presents assembly programs that blend physical theater, variety arts, music, humor, and a theme. He also offers playshops, residencies, and student and staff development. Study guides provide curriculum connections, and programs can be customized to highlight specific goals or concepts.

Cost $645 for Single Performance; $860 for Two Back to Back Performances; $110 for One Workshop/Playshop with any Performance; Fees are for weekday school programs. For additional options such as Workshops, Contact the YA Office. Travel Fee Required.

Technical Requirements

Arrange for a clean, well lit performance space with a high ceiling (12' if possible). Nels brings his own sound system, and requests access 30-45 minutes before and after the program. Good lighting is very important.

Character Education: Based on the principle that every person has value and potential, this dynamic performance addresses character issues such as attitude, excellence, respect, responsibility, and life choices. (K-12)

High On Life
Character Education: With an emphasis on wellness, this uplifting program promotes healthy choices that develop body, mind and character. It incorporates an age-appropriate message targeting substance abuse. (K-12) Workshops available upon request.

Read to Achieve
Language and Literary Arts: Celebrate reading through the art of juggling and physical theatre. Students improve reading proficiency by practicing skills such as word tracking. The artist provides encouragement with says like "The more you read, the more you know, the more you know, the more you grow!" (K-6) Workshops are available upon request.

Science Circus
STEM to STEAM: Imaginative math and science demonstrations, performed using circus skills, develop student understanding of forces, energy and motion. (K-6) Workshops available upon request.

Program teaches juggling, promotes positive decision-making, and includes age-appropriate play-shops. (K-12)

Juggling & Life Skills Playshop
Character Education: Through juggling and related activities, participants develop self-discipline and other life skills as well as tracking, motor, and sequencing skills used in reading, writing, math, and science. (K-12)
