Fatima Razic

Fatima Razic

Category: Musical Arts

Fatima is a European soul singer-songwriter who blends her Bosnian roots with contemporary pop and creates an expressive delivery infused with charged emotions and connectedness with her audience. Her delivery permeates through the crowd with a moving power that gives you chills. She finds a way to express her troubled youth through songwriting and uses it as a therapeutic outlet that both heals and hurts. Her songs embody love and pain at the same time. Fatimaís passion for musical expression comes from her desire to transform negative experiences into positive lessons and gratitude. It was her expressive songwriting that secured her appearances at the Rochester International Jazz Festival, Rochester Auditorium Theatre, Blue Cross Arena and Sahlenís Stadium opening for multi-Grammy winners The Whispers, Clarence Carter, Regina Bell, Lenny Williams and Marvin Sapp and more.

Artists Career Panel Presentation - Music/Vocal Artist
High School Work Based Learning Coordinators will welcome Fatima Razic as a Music/Vocal Artist for a panel presentation, developed to allow students to consider the role of their art interest/passion in their future plans. So many students stop arts interest areas after high school or college, yet would love to work in art fields. This Panel will help students learn how they may be able to continue in their interest areas - to consider if they can make a decent living pursuing their passion. Ms. Razic can provide a solo presentation or join a team of artists from other arts disciplines including Visual Art, Theatre, Storytelling, and Dance. (10-12)
