The Language of Jazz
Experience an informative yet entertaining performance while learning about each musician's instrument and their role in the Jazz group as a soloist, and as part of the ensemble. Many styles of Jazz - from Latin, Swing, Blues and Contemporary - are demonstrated. Improvisation is stressed and students are invited to participate in a 'scat' singing lesson. (K-12)
